Guarantees & limits
What we guarantee, and what we refuse to do. Both matter equally.
Our guarantees
- Satisfied or refunded — 7 days
- You receive your proof. You have 7 days to say no. We refund you, no justification needed. No arbitration, no form to fill in, no condition to meet.
- We only pay the Local after your confirmation
- Your money stays with us between payment and mission validation. That's what gives us the right to demand quality.
- One price, once
- The price announced is the price you pay. The only amounts on top are expenses — purchases, official fees — billed back to the franc, with the receipt.
- Proof with every mission
- Dated photos, video when relevant, a written report. We review everything before sending it to you.
What the guarantee doesn't cover
- The refund covers the mission price. Out-of-pocket costs — medication bought, official fees advanced, a parcel paid for on your behalf — stay yours: those are your purchases, billed to the franc with the receipt.
- Bad news is not a failure. If we find your land occupied, the mission worked: now you know. The guarantee covers our work, not what we find.
Cancellation & refunds
- Before we assign the mission
- Full refund within 48 hours.
- After assignment, before travel
- Full refund minus a 5,000 FCFA handling fee, which goes to the Local who was mobilized.
- After travel
- Expenses already incurred are withheld against receipts, the service is billed pro rata, the rest is refunded.
- Mission impossible through no fault of the Local
- Office closed, person absent, site inaccessible: the Local is paid, and you're fully refunded.
Missions we decline
This list exists first to protect the people we send into the field. In Burkina Faso, some errands that seem harmless elsewhere can expose someone to real danger. We decline, even if you insist, even if you offer more.
- Any investigation, tailing, or surveillance of a person.
- Any interview or reporting on behalf of a third party.
- Any filming of sensitive infrastructure, official buildings, or military zones.
- Any binding representation: bank, notary, court, or administrative body requiring a power of attorney you haven't provided us.
- Any property purchase, any signature, any commitment made in your name.
- Any transport or handover of cash beyond the amount of a ceremony envelope agreed in advance.
- Any mission outside the areas we judge safe at a given time.
- Any mission whose purpose isn't clear to us.
A Local can also walk away from a mission at any time if it doesn't feel right. In that case, they're still paid, and you're refunded.
